SHE CAN PLAY Announces New Under 13 Panthers Team Competing in Junior Premier League

SHE CAN PLAY is excited to announce the launch of the new Under 13 Panthers team, set to compete in the Junior Premier League this season. The team is a testament to SHE CAN PLAY’s commitment to developing home-grown talent, with 80% of the squad made up of players who have come through the SHE CAN PLAY Player Development Centre.

The Panthers team marks a significant milestone in SHE CAN PLAY's development pathway, which aims to nurture young talent and guide them towards competing at the highest levels of women’s football. With a holistic focus on developing players through SHE CAN PLAY'S 6 core values the development centre provides a unique coaching approach.

Currently, 60% of players in the first team have progressed through SHE CAN PLAY's Player Development Centres across Essex and Hertfordshire. This represents one of the highest percentages of home-grown players within the women's football pyramid, highlighting the success of the development pathway and its potential for continued growth. The Under 13 Panthers will now serve as a vital link in this pathway, providing the next generation of talent with the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a competitive environment.

SHE CAN PLAY’s vision for the future is clear; to continue fostering young talent and building a footballing culture where girls can dream of representing the first team in the WSL.
