She Can Play Panthers Clinch Promotion in Debut Season

In a remarkable debut campaign, SHE CAN PLAY Panthers have secured promotion from the Essex Women's Football League Premier Division to the Eastern Regional Women's Football League (Tier 6) for the 2025/26 season. The newly formed side finished 2nd in the league.

SHE CAN PLAY Panthers have exceeded all expectations in their first season. Highlights included an eight-game winning streak and impressive cup performances, with goal scorers like Evie Clarke (15 goals), Evie Walters (12), and Georgia Maxwell-Jones (9) leading the scoring charts.

The team’s success reflects the strength of the wider SHE CAN PLAY programme, established in 2016 to develop female footballers across Essex and Hertfordshire. The Panthers are the first senior team launched by the organisation, which is committed to creating a clear pathway from grassroots to elite level—run entirely by UEFA-qualified female coaches.

Now Recruiting: Tier 6 and Above Players Wanted

As they prepare for life in Tier 6, She Can Play Panthers are now inviting experienced players to join the squad. Players with experience at Tier 6 or above are encouraged to get in touch to be part of this ambitious, professionally run club.

Details:

  • Location: Training and matches in Romford & Ongar.

  • Who can apply: Female players with previous Tier 6 (or higher) experience

  • How to get involved: Email info@shecanplay.uk or message via Instagram @shecanplayfc

She Can Play Panthers have made a powerful statement in their first season—promotion achieved, and a bold new chapter ahead.

Ambitious players looking to be part of a driven and supportive team are invited to step forward.
